Clay Impressions
It’s amazing how fast our children grow. What better way to create a lasting keepsake than with our Hand & Foot Print Impressions. You can have prints made of hands, feet or both. Why not have siblings on the same piece of clay or even the whole family? Although most prints are of babies and small children, there is no age limit to making your Impression.
Our service is individual to you so please do not hesitate to discuss any additional requirements you may have. Hand Print and Foot Print impressions are produced by Jo, it is therefore advisable to book an appointment to avoid disappointment.
How old should my baby be to do the prints?
There is no age restriction, from newborn babies onwards the choice is yours. There is also no upper age limit, Hand and Foot Print Impressions can be created for all the family, or even to commemorate a special occasion such as a wedding!
How we do it!
We use a soft clay to take the prints, and its as simple as pressing your hand or feet into it. The clay is not harmful and can be extremely good fun for older children. It is worth preparing younger children in advance to avoid any suprises. Once the clay is dry, it is fired and then it is your choice to either return and paint it yourself or leave us your requirements and we will finish it for you.
How long does it take?
We advise you to allow four weeks for the whole process depending whether you wish to finish it yourself. We will e-mail you when it is ready for collection. If you have a short deadline please talk to us and we will help if we can.
